The Rubber Production Society was established on 10th November 1998. RPS is located in Moorje, Punchalkatte Village , Bantwal Taluk of D.K.District. The Founder Mr.Padmanabh gave his service till the period of June 2001. The first meeting of RPS was held on Nov 10th 1998, where in main task was Spraying against Corynespora and also had initial activities like Board of Director and General Body Meetings. Later on it was carried out by President Dr.Sampigathaya from June 2001-November 2003, henceforth Mr. Joseph Parippallil as a President carried out from November 2003-June 2010.
The RPS had a revival meeting on 2003. The Inauguration of Office & Input Distribution was held on Jan 2004. Initial Activities carried out after Revival was Educating about Rubber Cultivation, Arrangements of seminars, Arrangements of demonstration classes, Arrangement of Training programmes.
On 23rd January 2009 the laying of foundation stone was been carried out. The Inaugural Function of Newly Constructed RPS building was held on 2nd of June 2009. In the year 2010 Mr. Xavier MJ carried the mantle of President ship from the year June 2010. The Inauguration of Godown was conducted on 23rd March 2010. On the year 2010 of March 23 Computer Installation Program was Carried out by MLR Hegden,Joint RPC.
