Xavier M.J. (2010)

The current president Xavier M.J. is continuing since June 2010. He was gracious enough to donate 20 cents of land to setup a Group Processing Center(GPC) for the benefit of R.P.S members. He has advanced a huge amount for the construction of the GPC to finish the same in a short period of time and to become eligible for Rubber Board's financial assistance. The GPC was commissioned on 05-04-2016 by T.N. Reetha Bhai, Deputy Rubber Production Commissioner. The installed capacity of the GPC has been doubled with the construction of additional smoke houses at the premises of the GPC. Under his leadership the RPS is fortunate to inaugurate RPS website on 6th November 2018.

Group Processing Centre (GPC)

The RPS has made a significant impact in the modernization of the rubber holdings in their operational area through its unrelenting efforts of transfer of technology combined with the institutional support of the Rubber Board.Establishment of a Group Processing Centre in 2016 with the technical and financial support of the Rubber Board was a way forward for undertaking community processing and marketing of rubber. The latex from the estates of member growers are processed to uniform quality sheets and marketed by the RPS itself .The beneficiary growers will get their due price as per the grade on a minimal service charge. The beneficiary growers are thus saved from the drudgery of homestead processing and storage of sheet rubber besides the realization of better price. GPC has also created new jobs for nearly ten people.
