Moorje Rubber Producers Society is a voluntary self help association of small growers registered under Karnataka Societies Registration Act 1960.This association is envisaged to function as a non-profit making institution imparting technical and scientific know how to the members for the general improvement of their rubber plantations and thereby economic and social welfare . The byelaw for functioning of the RPS was formulated by the Rubber Board .Immediately after the registration; the RPS has got approval of the Rubber Board. The funds of the Society were raised through admission fee, annual subscription, donation, loans and advances from members, non-members and subsidies from the Rubber Board. The membership is open to rubber small growers who own less than 5 hectares of rubber plantation and agreed to market the rubber sheet/latex and field coagulum produced in their holdings through the society. The ultimate authority of the Society vests with the general body .The responsibility for management of the Society is vested with the Board of Directors (BOD).
